Going to game 1 tomorrow, can't wait. I said before the playoffs started that these were easily the best two teams in the east, and it would be a shame to play before the conference finals. Whichever team wins will win the east, I say Pens in 7.

As a lifelong BLUES fan, I have also learned to like Rangers & Pens hockey, so if my beloved Blue Note can't be in the hunt, I'll be happy either way this one goes, because I believe it'll be some GREAT hockey, and whomever wins, I just wanna' see the RED WINGS (The Evil Empire) SLAUGHTERED like dogs in a Cambodian mess hall.....

Now, where's that "Twisted Evil" smiley, again?......

Actually, it would be nice to see Pittsburgh, during a prolonged Cup run, and if they won it, I could add that to my experiences of having been in STL when McGwire hit #71 & 72, and the Rams' Bowl win, and then the Dallas Cowboys' parade after whuppin' Buffalo... all great memories, and unique times & places to be blessed enough to be at in this life....

GO PENS!!!

It will be a great series.....I was hoping for Washington in round 2 as they would have been a much easier match up. Lundqvist is scary because he could win a game for the blue shirts. Also, you gotta watch out for Drury, Gomez, etc. Plus Jagr, Shannahan, Straka. They have two scoring lines just like the Penguins! This is the one team that scares me in the East. But, one thing for sure, this should be a high scoring series....up and down. I think Pittsburgh's defense is better than the Rangers. I also think Pittsburgh is a little faster! And lately young, fast teams have been doing well in the NHL. Pens in 6! With a couple of OT wins!

I'm hoping for a Flyers-Pens Eastern Conference final, because it would be great to see the Orange and Black re-establish their rightful dominance over the Pens.

This seasons playoff dark horse is the Rangers. Canadiens were lucky that the Flyers slipped by Washington and avoided the NYR! Pitt will not be so lucky, Rangers in 6.

This win is most important because it built confidence for the still young Penguins that they can come back from a big deficit to win a playoff game. That is huge confidence.

Lets give some credit to Ruttu for getting it all started with the first goal! And Malkin for crashing the net on goal 5!

Fleury has to be better in game 2.
