It's like having a discussion with a 5 year old.

So he's welcome to shout into the wind to his heart's content towards my direction.
He's historically been on ignore, I will take him off when I'm feeling generous, but he manages to get put back on after his unsuccessful trolling. If this board had a statistic for trolling and being put on ignore he'd be at the top of the list. Eventually he'll just be talking to himself. Like to also add, if this forum was moderated fairly the trolls would be weeded out.

lol. You’ve never put me on ignore and I’m not trolling anyone. When you make ridiculous statements that you can’t provide examples or facts too, that’s trolling.

So it is time I start looking at this differently. Wolf just stated he is taking executive action for police reform.

https://www.wpxi.com/news/top-storie...O2CHMQKH35FFQ/ How do people see police in black communities? Only have black cops patrol? What do people want? Do police change style in all towns as well? I always felt they should be more involved in communities instead of just police work. What kind of changes are we looking to do?

Look, if there is a police chief in our city kneeling and a governor taking executive action for police reform, I want to understand the direction. Not here to argue points, but just listen and understand. It is clear change is coming, but what change is it? I would like to see police not be so separate from us as residents. It is like police are their own group and standoffish. Not all of course, but most. It shouldn't be that way. Anyway, I am all ears. I think we could learn a lot from Andy Taylor and Mayberry. Police should know way more people were they do police work. We do have to be realistic of course. We just had a black cop shot at some party in Homewood that was trying to break up some fight or something. He paid with his life, so we do need to realistic.

I do have an idea of improving the police. It is a known fact that social workers are wildly underpaid. Why not hire a lot more of them to interact with a lot of the small stuff? They could do it in a more caring fashion. Good idea?

I also want people to understand a few points.

1. Obviously "Black lives matter". Does that even need to be said? I guess so.
2. Floyd should be living today period. That was a murder caught on camera and made me and many people sick.
3. I don't have good answers about how to change the police as far as racial issues. We had a black chief recently and I don't think that did any good to my knowledge.
4. Not all cops are like that one kneeling on Floyd's neck. Most think that was horrible and publicly stated it.

You were on ignore for a while and I took you off, I suppose you want me to provide proof for that as well that you'll then refute. Bye felicia

Or simply back up what you say rather than trolling due to hurt feelings, especially by saying police are going GI Joe and using military gear against US citizens.

  • I think police unions are a big part of the problem.
  • I think there's not enough oversight, and too much "look the other way" within the ranks.
  • I think it's odd that someone has to have a license to cut hair, but not to be a police officer. Actually, I think it's a little odd that someone needs a license to cut hair to begin with, but the point remains. There should be a certification/licensing body similar to doctors, etc. so that bad cops can't just move and get a job in another town/state.

There already is certification to be a police officer.

When police officers get paid as much as doctors that might be reality, but until then it’s not happening.

No kidding. It is always like a couple of 5 year olds when it gets going, but it seems to always get going. Seriously talk about brain drain!
