Family and Freinds.

Hubby and I left the area many, many years ago when Regan shut the state down. We decided to take early(ish) retirements so we could come back sooner rather than later. He has already retired, I retire in about nine months.

Of course, from day one it has always been our intention to return. We thought it would be five years or so until the economy picked back up. But with one thing after another it ended up being over 25 years.

We just returned from a two week trip in the 'burgh looking at houses. We put in an offer on one, so perhaps if they accept it, we (or at least he) will be returning home sooner.

Wish us luck!
