it is not because of Fox News. Its because your mother-in-law is susceptible to that manipulation.

I was talking to a random stranger in the Slopes who literally walks the neighborhoods on Sunday to pick up garbage. we got on to politics (unfortunately), and he just became a moron - a raving lunatic not FOR anything positive, but AGAINST everything Trump. I didnt even MENTION Trump. it was not worth my time.

haha - actually, no. there probably was a lesser known (now obscure?) independent. possibly Green Party.

i dont remember. what is key is that i didnt want either of the major parties.

"wasted vote"? no - that is my personal right and privilege. i can vote for GG if i wanted to...then i'd get a visit from CYS, probably..."any at-risk children in this home with access to guns?"

Fox News is the propaganda wing of the GOP. It's very specifically BECAUSE of Fox News.

Sociologists have pointed out that you can use the timeline of peoples' likes on Facebook to see how they move from Fox News to more radical sources like Breitbart. Fox's entire purpose is to radicalize people.

There's nothing positive about Trump and your neighbor was 100% correct. He has accomplished nothing for working Americans whatsoever. He has played a lot of golf at our expense, though.

i just cant believe we cant get a strong, mentally well-balanced, healthy, tactful yet tough candidate in there. must be that men and women like that are happy in their current lives. it must take either a lunatic, or a life long public servant who would go for the job of president.

i really thought bloomberg would have been a strong, amazing candidate...but thanks to idiot democrat voters, HE was trounced - either not radical enough, nor boring enough.
Lol I misspelled on purpose. It didn’t take long for the talking tater hole to chime in.

Anyways I agree with you. I just think this whole pandemic is a full court press to get him removed from office. It appears to be working. I went to the Columbus zoo and saw a lot of Biden signs out in the exburbs at big houses. I think he’s gonna lose big and probably take others with him. Oh well it is just a four year term for the next guy.

I really like Tulsi Gabbard. I think she would be the best candidate of either party. Young, female, minority, middle of the road, speaks well, military experience, attractive. Too many of the young Dems want socialism and the older Dems want Uncie Joe. I’m still holding out he chooses her for VP. It would then be game over. If Biden is dumb and chooses a Harris or another black female that would be dumb. I have yet to see one that would be VP candidate material.

Anyways getting back to the purpose of this thread, it’s going to be interesting how much office space gets put on the market. I don’t think people realize how bad this pandemic can be for Pittsburgh. Especially now since most companies know what they will get working from home. I think it opened Pandora’s box and downtown may end up being a ghost town. I’ve heard pnc is going to be dropping space to.

Pittsburgh relies so much on densely packing jobs in buildings or one area. Social distancing and work from home is going to change that. I can’t imagine the loss in parking revenue, wage taxes and payroll taxes. No question they will need a backup plan. Maybe downtown ends up more green space and less high rise buildings.

Do you have any idea how insane it sounds to rational people when they hear that you think 140,000 Americans crawled into the grave as part of a scheme to get the president removed from office?

Your surrogate daddy doesn't need help looking bad, he does quite well on his own.

He could have taken decisive federal action to prevent the spread of this disease, like Obama's administration did for H1N1 and Ebola. He chose to do absolutely nothing except recommend that people drink bleach and cry about how unfair everyone is to him.

In a sane and rational world he'd have been removed from office by now for corruption and negligence. That anyone is going to vote for a man who has allowed through his inaction 140,000+ unnecessary deaths is a sign of just how unhinged this country has become.

Not all opinions are created equal, or deserve the same consideration. "140,000 people died in a scheme to get the president out of office" is not an opinion anyone needs to entertain.

By any objective measure, the president has done a horrible job of being president.

Just as he did a horrible job of being a businessman.

Turns out that game show hosts don't make good presidents.

Eschaton, your wife is an architect, and your IQ is higher than most of the conservative posters’ IQ’s combined, correct?

Given your aforementioned expertise, couldn’t a lot of Downtown’s excess office space just be converted to apartments or condos?

I mean residential demand Downtown is still sky-high. I thought Terminal 21 and GlassHouse (technically South Shore) were both crazy overpriced, but they have been leasing like hot cakes.

If the city replaces occupied office space with occupied dwellings isn’t that still a good thing?
