No, I was just agreeing with Mark Madden. This is a Madden Appreciation Thread right? I was just agreeing with his take on Ben.

You said they should’ve traded up to get a qb, and then said you don’t know who they should’ve taken. In other words, you have no answer to your statement and it’s simply hindsight as you said nothing of this in the off-season, only after a loss.

yeah, youre right about that.

But also, I agree with Madden that Ben is done. His ball has no zip. It has no accuracy. For every good throw he makes, he makes two or three that are bad.

Who’s arguing against what Madden said?

He looks terrible, and any qb behind the “worst oline in the league” would look terrible.

I never said anyone was arguing against it. I was just agreeing with it. He's done.

I look forward to seeing who you think they should replace him with.

Yeah, that's a whole separate question.

It's just sad that Ben seems to have stayed on too long. I wonder if/how it will tarnish his legacy. He was a great QB at one time, but he's clearly overstayed.

It’s not going to tarnish his legacy. He’s a 1st ballot HOF’er….and anyone thinking any qb behind that line could do better obviously doesn’t pay much attention to the NFL.

He wishes he was, lol.

Oh of course not, none of the backups are even close. But it's just a shame he didn't go out on top.
