Hopefully they remove all the bad eggs, while also defunding the department.

yeah, i have a complaint. most of the people who find they are interacting with the police more than the normal citizen are ne'er do wells who are free to wander through our community. can they be removed? is there review board for their behaviour? i guess in our Democrat party future, such a board is coming, anyway.

Criminals, especially repeat criminals have rights. Cops target them because they’re misunderstood. Let the defunding commence.

If you are familiar with this guy, he should have been off the streets long ago. Pistol whipped a guy (case of mistaken identity, what a cop!) when off duty (and drunk) and his gun goes off injuring the innocent victim? That's just one of his abuses as a city cop, the guy is garbage. But hey, keep lickin them boots.

Who’s “licking boots” and defending him?

oh i've known about Abel, thank you. Its been in the news.

thankfully, the anti-police narrative has a fresh new cause du jour and will continue the bigger picture - a culture of crime, hyped up causes based on media exaggeration, all intertwined with poverty.

its all about the police - too much power!

yeah, ok.

Bunch of a Libs out there are crying because Officer Abel has made more money protecting and serving our city the past few years than they’ll ever see in their life.

Banked just under $173K in 2017, making him one of the highest paid city employees. Good, he earned it.

I have yet to see anyone who has provided an intelligent response after originally stating to defund the police and then after someone asks for a response on what to do after defunding the police for safety. All I have heard to respond has been crickets. Anyone have a better solution. I think we need to fund the police more than ever right now. However, police officers have become more like social workers at the present. The best remedy to all relevant issues is to bring back hope.
