Not really. People still have cash and goods to exchange so gas can always be had. They can control your electric remotely.

No worries. Many are in favor of the government regulating, taking care of, and making their decisions for them.

Yeah well. I think this provides motive for the murder of nursing home patients last spring.

The estimated $7.3 billion coming to Pennsylvania state government dwarfs the roughly $2.5 billion deficit projected for state government next year by the Independent Fiscal Office, a legislative agency. Rising demand for long-term nursing care for a growing number of elderly residents is a key cost driver.

Remember they knew what they were doing as Dr Levine removed her mother from a nursing home before transferring covid patients there. Motive and intent.

Bingo...and they absolutely knew what they were doing in regards to nursing home patients. String Wolf, Cuomo, Levine, etc..., up together. It seriously cracks me up how Levine is in no way is the definition of health, yet is Secretary of Health, and has been a disgrace this entire time.

As long as you don’t mis-gender Dr. Levine, you’re entitled to your opinion.

This article is quite interesting. U of Pitt economic professor made this statement. Oh and BTW 12-years ago Obama was president. The colleges and high tech do not and have not provided much needed population growth.

“For only one brief moment this century has southwestern Pennsylvania attracted more people than it lost—a five-year span that Briem found was driven by the boom in Marcellus Shale natural gas production some 12 years ago. When those jobs slowed, the migration gains disappeared.”

And that growth was obviously never sustainable, anyway. The fact of the matter is that the "boom" of natural gas is extremely short-lived and has little to show for long-term job, widespread job prospects.

Extractive industries are a dying a slow death, and will continue to with continuous advances in energy. Let's just put the nail in the coffin and stop fooling ourselves that a selfish and greedy industry was ever going to be lucrative for Pennsylvania.
