Another lousy play in the field by Cruz that should’ve been an error and should’ve been left to the outfielder. 5 players with averages of .160-.195 played in the game, and another loss. Team is getting worse instead of better and that goes for most of the players. Even Reynolds has a WAR of only 2.1, and Hayes is often hurt. Gonna be interesting to see how this pans out going into next season as “prospects, prospects, prospects” is alive and well with lousy results. Looking more and more like meet the new boss same as the old boss.

I don't think anyone watches these games but you. They are a joke of a team and an embarrassment to any city. We just got a bad owner. Good owner for himself, but horrible for the city.

Lol. You’d be wrong. Plenty of folks watch on tv, streaming, etc…. They just don’t go to the games unless a big name team is playing, fireworks, etc… And if nobody watched or paid attention to the team there wouldn’t be media coverage about them everyday via social media, radio, tv, etc…, and ATT Sports wouldn’t be carrying the games.

No, I was at game last night and am going again tonight. The Pirates are at best a AAA minor league team. And even that's a stretch. The only legit player on our team is Bryan Reynolds. On any other decent team he'd be a superstar.

O'Neil Cruz is looking more and more like Polanco to me. Seems lackadaisical in the field. Has power and a great arm but that doesn't mean anything if there's no putting it all together.

Reynolds would certainly prosper from legitimate players in the lineup to help protect him at the plate.

Cruz has looked like Polanco much of the time he’s been up. He’s had some good stretches but the league adjusts and he hasn’t adjusted with it.

This encapsulates the Pirates. Perfectly said.

Bucs fans are in an uproar even though the commentators were spot on. Greg Brown was on the Fan today towing the company line. It was borderline embarrassing how he tried to defend the organization and especially the players that most nobody knows but Bucs fans.

Double M doesn’t understand why anyone would be upset by the truthful comments.

Nor do I. Except folks are sensitive, get their feelings hurt easily, etc… over the home team. They’re duped into believing there’s hope to “compete”, and still believe in prospects prospects prospects. It’s also obvious that many fans don’t watch other teams unless they’re playing the Pirates because the lack of skill and talent reeks, and has since after 2015.

In a “rebuild” teams start to get better and the Bucs are getting worse. Not long ago the clamoring was “at least we’re not the Orioles, except the Orioles have gotten better and Bucs continue to look like them before that.
