AOCguy running around here making financial claims about what stuff costs and how much revenue it will generate, and why it is a good idea….with absolutely zero evidence to support!

Lol. The more popular your product is the more of it you’re going to sell. One can learn that in grade school…but “Go Nutting’s Wallet”.

Who’s telling Nutting’s Wallet how to run his business?

It all fixed cost! And even if not, costs don’t matter! Why? Because of hard data? NO! Because my feelings say so! Cost doesn’t matter! More revenue = more profit. No other variable applies! Debt doesn’t matter! Modern monetary theory applied to baseball.

Lol. More popular = more money. It’s a big reason why other teams total revenue are higher every year. https://www.statista.com/statistics/...teams-in-2010/

Since Erie seems to like to discuss the Pirates on a completely different thread, here is why I feel the Pirates are the second worst team in baseball for the past 25 years. I would rather be KC than us since they won a WS within that time.

Except your link refers to wins, and the Pirates are the 3rd worst team in wins, and even being the 2nd worst team in wins, they could still be worse, as I said.

The annual Bucs $$$ dump recently took place. Stallings traded for “prospects prospects prospects”, and Moran and Brault DFA’d.

One of the funniest things I’ve heard and have been hearing it more is that homering and wishful thinking folks are predicting the Bucs win the WS in 2027. Sounds like Huntington’s “trust the process” line more and more.

Not when they run the team like they do. It’s why they have 4 winning seasons since 92, have one of the lowest payrolls in the league every year, etc…, and when they did have the opportunity to spend money and make the team better in 2016, they did zero and trotted out a lousy roster, especially the starting rotation.

This fact is mind blowing. Only 4 winning seasons in 30 years. We're not talking World Series victories. Winning seasons. Ending at least 82-80. Wow.
