Erie,

If we play out a little scenario here -- for example, say a friend comes to you -- a healthy, 46-year-old male and says, "Erie, I'm not sure whether I should get the vaccine. I don't have any particular aptitude for science or math, but I appreciate that you have excellent math skills and that you've spent a lot of time reviewing the available information on Covid and the vaccines. My family physician recommends that I get the vaccine, but I'm still concerned about it based on what 'people are saying'. Do you think I should get the vaccine?"

I think you should do whatever you think is best, and it should have nothing “ to do with what people are saying”. It should have to do with one’s own health, and only simple comprehension because “science” is needed to decide. Having excellent math skills certainly isn’t needed, but interesting strawman argument nonetheless.

Hey, speaking of a strawman with excellent math skills, can we break from this scintillating discussion for a brief clip from a classic:

Here's some more deflection -- I came up with a proposed "spirit animal" for this forum. Thoughts?

Here are some other thoughts from the spirit animal, upon which I think we all can agree.

No vaccine, no way. Surprised there aren't more people rejecting this fraud to push unsafe, untested vaccines into every moving thing.

No thanks. Until we can sue Big Pharma in a court of law for injury and death due to their product, I'll stick to my natural health regimen to keep my immune system healthy.

Thanks anyway.

p.s. And if the vaccine works, why would the vaccinated worry about the unvaccinated? Makes no sense. More lies and deceit and people aren't falling for it.
Typhoid Mary stood her ground too. Being asymptomatic she refused to believe she was a carrier. She infected 53 but only 3 of them died before they locked her up. BTW, the vaccinated can still get the Covid but my chance of getting it is about 90% less than yours.
