not only was that line crossed, they proceeded further to scale the building, literally get shoe prints on its walls, treat it like it was a frat house, and damage it. in the process, one police man was beaten to death, and another, in obvious distress, was being crushed with none of these party goers stepping in to help.

aside from that, when one of their own was shot down no one stepped in to assist with her needs as she lay there.

if these people don't sound like crazed insurrectionists....
How many people were there?

And no way in using those objects were they going to overthrow the Capitol.

What time did it start and when did they leave?

And those partygoers should be punished.

So they didn’t help.

Sounds like doesn’t mean anything. Who declared it an insurrection?

Don't argue with this moron he's fully capable of doing a google search, put him on ignore where he resides for so many people that come here.

Really no need to get upset and call names. I already made factual statements so no Google search needed, but please do feel free to prove me wrong if you insist what I’m saying isn’t true.

all right, here's my take:

the insurrection (my word - deal with it) was a mixed bag. surely, there were a lot of people that may have crossed onto the Capitol (sp) grounds but did NOT ascend the stairs or enter the building.

there were plenty who DID, though. it takes time, but the FBI is working on finding and arresting or citing these idiots - good. the psychological damage that did was tremendous. witnessing the anger one has to actually beat a policeman when he's down - terrifying.

i do NOT believe a bunch of blacks would have gotten way worse treatment, however, for the reasons i stated earlier.

there isnt anything else i can add to this argument.

Define armed. Do pipe bombs count?

Who gets to define BLM marches as riots?

Because there certainly weren’t enough people there to overthrow the Capitol.

What rioters had pipe bombs?

Because there’s no way they were going to overthrow the Capitol in such a short time with such few people, and unarmed.

The government, FBI, etc…, didn’t declare it an insurrection, so they’d be the ones to decide.

Lol. “Marches” are obviously different than “riots”. When did rioting, looting, burning it down, causing violence, etc…, become a “march”?

Who said the goal was to overthrow the Capitol?

Or are you going to argue the definition of the word bomb, or pipe, or sky, or person?

Ok.

Unless you want to argue that the Justice Department isn't "The government", they called it one

Also the federal judge (also part of "The government" agreed

So in other words, nobody in the Capitol had a pipe bomb. Got it

That was from 1/21/21. Old news. It’s not considered an insurrection, because it wasn’t, but if you have anything recent, please do post it
