Think I saw 30 scooters today downtown. Seems that is popular. Don’t know much about it. Looked for a thread on here came up empty. Guess most of the folks here drive Escalades.

Yeah, why is this a big thing everywhere now? I mean, it's not just here, I've seen a few news items about scooters in different cities this summer.

Harrisburg legalized a pilot program in Pittsburgh several weeks ago.

Scooter share legalized for Pittsburgh only, still banned in Philadelphia

its great. it is a better way to get between destinations in the inner city. there should be more use of them - if they could encourage older people to use them, it would reduce driving and air pollution.

they should just phase out the bike share.

What’s also great is the transit app. In the beginning of July (along with the scooter release) all transport options are all available under one app now. Really makes it easier to find things, get times available, etc. Some of this information is posted in the info / request thread.

thanks for that - could be many people did not realize that. it would boost comfort for tourists tremendously, if they want to zip around and enjoy the city without the burden of parking a car, moving it, parking, etc.

i did not know about this app.
