Not a chance, nor will the communities or their so brave leaders, but they’ll talk a big game, then hide behind the door and pull the curtains and act like they didn’t see anything while blaming society.

Nothing like starting early, but no worries. Big Ed and the community leaders got this until the new police chief and social workers start.

Will he condemn it whilst wearing his virtue signaling t-shirt that reads "I Support Immigrants?" On a side note, that would be very phobophobic given this month's celebration/Balkanization theme.

Now, we know that he's not going to condemn any such thing. When has any leader condemned this? Has Lori Lightfoot in Chi-raq ever condemned it? Not that I'm aware. She's certainly done absolutely nothing to address that issue. Have any "civil rights activists" such as Al Sharpton ever spoken out? Nope. They are all part of the con that is the Democrat party. Nothing will ever be done about this type of violence.

It's possible those leaders want the kids to murder each other.

When I was in my 20s, a professor of something or other proposed the idea that no social scientist or political leader actually wants to solve a social problem because...there's no money in it. The federal money only flows when the problem continues, or better, if the problem worsens.

That is the absolute truth. Just look at the green movement. That's the highest profile attempt at an ongoing transfer of wealth and man, are leftists getting sucked in on that one just like the boogeyman of white supremacy.

Throwing money at the problem is what government does for every issue - perceived or real. The next problem they solve by throwing money at it will be the first. The war on drugs, the war for social justice, the war for rights, the war for healthcare, the war for education...the list goes on and on.

Also, there is factor of political expediency. Politicians are always going to place pandering for votes as higher priority than solving problems in the areas they represent. Just take a look at nearly all big cites (which have been run for decades by Democrats, no less) where nothing ever gets done. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk. All hat, no cattle. Yet, voters keeping voting straight D.

Politicians use violent crimes as crutch to get elected. You're right - they don't care. They only care about votes.

You guys are always welcome to move elsewhere. There are plenty of countries in the world that are in a police state. Sounds like you would enjoy authoritarian leadership.

Check out the Homeless industry on the west coast. They're as bad as the MIC. They should call it the Homeless Industrial Complex. Billions go in, increased homelessness comes out. But it's full employment for social workers and all the money they can launder for pols.

Why not move to a country with an authoritarian leader?

Another good example of where leftists throw money at a problem and then move on to the next politically expedient issue. San Francisco used to be beautiful, iconic city but is now overrun with homeless people, fecal matter on the streets and used needles. Parts of Seattle and Los Angeles look like third world countries with the homeless living in tents, garbage strewn everywhere and it's embarrassing. What do these areas all have in common? They are run by Democrats and have been for decades.

Look at the areas with increasing violent crimes: Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc. They all have radical democrat district attorneys who are turning a blind eye to the increase in crime. Leftists keep getting more extreme. Senile Joe's America.
