Anyone who wants a gun can get one if they open up enough car doors. In the first 5 months of this year the Nashville police had reports of 625 guns stolen from cars. That`s one city and only 5 months and only the guns that were reported. That`s one way around a backup check. Why do we allow people to leave their guns in their vehicles overnight? The vehicle doesn`t have 2nd amendment rights and can`t defend itself against thieves. I`ve never heard a politician or a police official talk about this. Those 625 guns are not in the hands of law abiding citizens.

Yep, folks should certainly keep their car doors locked and should be responsible for their guns, however, the idea that anyone can open enough car doors and get one is great stuff, especially with the numbers you provided.

Just think, if there were less violent criminals and repeat violent criminals, there would be less violent crime…but unfortunately, the defenders and enablers of these criminals thing capital punishment is being a big meanie to these poor entitled criminals.

And the idea that less guns and more gun control is going to keep criminals from acquiring guns is great stuff, as Chicago and NY are perfect examples…and guns get shipped into the country like drugs and criminals easily get their hands on them….but Dems so love to blame guns instead of the poor entitled criminals.

Why is that exactly, and please be specific?

Why blame criminals, it was gun owners who forced them into a life of crime. Just imagine seeing a car door unlocked, you open it to lock it for the poor chap when all of a sudden a gun leaps into your arms and forces you into a life of crime. You started out as a do-gooder and the evil gun owners ruined your life.

Does Chicago or New York have border checks when you enter the city? Maybe it`s just me but I think we would have less violent crime if we didn`t allow everyone who wants a gun to have a gun. We`re not safe anywhere.

It's safe in most suburbs. Your odds of being a crime victim are much higher in the city.

They have very strict gun laws, but criminals don’t care.

Lol. Contrary to your belief, there’s gun control. Proof that everyone that wants a gun can have a gun, and please be specific?

Interesting how you say we’re not safe anymore as you often complain about the police versus the criminals, and don’t want traffic stops in the city where illegal guns have been found with criminals during those stops…and if you’re scared best to stay home, especially if you’re not interested in doing anything about the criminals.

Two women killed late Saturday in a shootout on Pittsburgh’s North Side were innocent bystanders waiting in a nearby bus shelter, police said Monday.

But the left will have you believe that it is the shooters who are the victims of societies inequities.
