Woodland Hills High School students will shift to remote learning Thursday and Friday after district officials cited “credible threats” and multiple fights at the school on Wednesday, according to a district letter distributed to families.

“After today’s events, we are reevaluating our safety and security protocols in regard to student discipline and communication,” Superintendent James Harris wrote in the letter.

I can't imagine sending a child there. A school that needs to move to remote learning because of most likely a possible shooting to come.

I saw that and an attempted murder by someone that wanted someone's pizza and shot him point blank twice and took the pizza. That happened in the South Side.

It seems like we have a real epidemic on our hands around here with an insane amount of violence. Mind numbing! Have a look at this caught on camera.

It's easy to avoid though. In my area, murders happen about once every 10 or 20 years and they are always domestic disputes, not drug dealers or teenagers. Stay out of areas the perps frequent or reside in.

And frankly, if no one can be jailed anymore, death and maiming are the alternative solutions.

Lack of discipline, no self-control, lack of parenting, entitlement, etc…

If poverty is to blame, folks that can’t afford to have kids and parent them, should refrain from having them.

Looks like they are opening a substation for police in the South Side. I honestly don't think it will help because of how brazen outsiders have become down there with violence. You can't even walk down the street with a pizza without being shot it seems. The privilege and entitlement is off the charts at this point and I don't think police can really do much, unless we stand together and demand a very proactive approach. I think the only way is stop, question and frisk to get rid of the illegal guns off the streets down there. That would work. Anything short of that won't.

At least the problem is recognized and they’re doing something about it. Many would close their eyes and act like it’s no big deal.

Looks like another white guy attempting to injure someone.

I have to say, there’s a real problem with the whites and violence.
