you are correct, in a sense.

but then, you dont really add anything to the discussion. you are right that the politicizing seems deconstructive. true, it just turns up the heat on a boiling pot.

but at the same time, you dont offer a counter-discussion. an alternate opinion.
its not a mystery why the most vocal here are the voices of the more hardcore, authoritarian types, of which i probably am one.

Why are you telling him? He obviously doesn't like gun violence. Tell it to the people who get mad when you even mention shootings. According to them, there's no issue. Also, why can't both of these things be a disgrace? They seem pretty closely related to me.

From the link:

Dr. Christopher Hayner, owner of Hayner Dental, says he is moving his practice out of the downtown area after Thursday's fatal shooting in the 700 block of Liberty Avenue.

He says the incident is the breaking point after a surge in crime incidents during the past four years.

"Open drug use, prostitution, crime, violence, you're still seeing fights, you're still seeing obviously, violence yesterday," Hayner said.

Hayner says the repetitive violence puts his patients and staff in harm's way.

"Their safety, getting into the office, leaving the office, no matter what time of day it is. I'm relocating out of the Downtown Triangle," he said.

What happened in Wilkins township last week with the University professor? Haven’t heard anything more about it. Was this his wife who shot him? Was it self defense?

Do you live here now?

I`m telling no one in particular. This entire country has to deal with this plague.

Still waiting for proof to this claim that anyone that wants a gun can have one?

Funny how you don’t blame the criminals. If folks would behave, guns nor police would be needed.

Nah, it’s the loser criminals that soft on crime political figures spin through the revolving doors of justice so they can do it again, and the folks that vote for them that enables it to happen while blaming meanie police and an inanimate object instead.
