Poor lady. Hopefully the revolving door of justice stays closed.

Glad she is moving. I think she is a teacher at a college. I hope she moves out to the burbs where it is safer, but nothing is totally safe these days. I am taking huge precautions after this past election and direction of our country. Cameras, motions and several shot guns in rooms, so if a motion sensor goes off, I am already ready for what is to come. I am also creating a safe area like they do in Israel that will enable a fall back situation if attacked by a group. Times have changed. All anyone has to do is look at the South Side. Destroyed. I think when the South Side is not in anymore due to all the shootings for walking down the street with a pizza and being shot by a privileged/entitled person that can't see beyond themselves, Lawrenceville will be next. Where else are they going to go for easy pickings and to vent their anger that was created by the Democratic Party this past election. Interesting how it all worked. Shame we are living in the 60's in certain ways again. Sure is different than 12 years ago. Wow. Stay safe.

Sounds extreme. You must live in a rough area.

This is an example of children in care wreaking havoc on the greater community. This child should have been in the care of CYF or a third party agency. He was obviously absconded and CYF lost track of him. A motherless child is a dangerous child. I recently had to deny a request for assistance. A young teenager left a gun in the back seat of a caseworkers vehicle. CYF wanted my agency to take over. The request was denied as safety is my main concern. My frontline staff are parents themselves and I would not feel comfortable putting them in this situation.

Most of these teen shooters have ties to or are in the care of CYF.

I wanted to be fair and balanced.

about 2 weeks ago I was in the south side. Took thursday off, it was 80, last run of the boat. the shutdown of the SS seems to be working...the construction on carson is restricting side street traffic flow so things keep moving. the homeless encampment was long gone....and the topper is, we have not heard much on the SS in the last month and a half.

See what happens when you restore police presence? going down the side streets to the giant eagle where the one person was beaten and shootings occurred in the parking lot, I got a good look at the neighborhood off carson. it appears to be rather clean and affluent and a lot of work going on from 18th to 10th on the river side (ask me some day how a missed turn resulted in a 20 minute crawl zigzaggin streets to get around parks cars and dozers while towing a rather large and wide boat....)

Keep the outsiders out and close down the boozeries or at least the riff-raffier ones. the police know which ones spawn trouble. listen to them for once.
