Why is that kid charged with a crime? The moral to be drawn is - be careful who you interact with. Even if they're criminals, they'll be protected if they're black. So avoid them at all costs.

Well his is only 15 years old. That is damn young. I don't think he intended to interact with a 19 year old, but the 19 year old started dating his ex-girlfriend and it seems the 15 year old was attacked. It amazes me this is on trial at all! It was IN the 15 year old's apartment!!!! What is going on with this case? I am just surprised that the kid is in jail when this happened in his own apartment. He is SO lucky this is on video. Hope it is made public as the people should know the facts, not the media's take on it.

well, we dont know the full story. he is CHARGED, but not convicted. lets not over-react and give the due process a chance to go forward.
the thing i do not like about this is to put the deceased's family on. "i want him to think about the person he killed...." the news should NEVER do that. that already has distorted the truth in a lot of viewers' minds.
i am not saying the deceased is innocent or guilty, nor that baverso is innocent (or guilty). we just dont know. but there is no need to put family into these tv news videos. it serves no purpose but to reinforce to the public wrong conclusions based on emotion and predjudice rather than fact.
