Gotta hand it to the Italians for leveraging their victimhood into a federal holiday.

Sadly, folks are trying to use their victimhood to try to change things to suit themselves. However, I’ve yet to hear how changing names and statues is going to change their lives.

If removing statues changes nothing what's the issue with removing them?

Why remove something that’s already there since it doesn’t change lives?

Columbus was never portrayed as a victim, nor were Italians.

The whole victimhood celebrations by the Left kicked into high gear after the big victimfests after 911. They love those. Virtually no group was portrayed as victims before the 1960s. Now it's an industry.

LOL. Quit puking up nonsense, and inform yourself before posting dumb comments.

Why are you so invested in the mythology of Columbus?

I've lived it. I attended school when no group was depicted as victims. Too bad you missed it. The victim glorification leads to stunted and violent adults. Enjoy your shootings.

Lol. I haven’t done anything to portray I’m invested in the mythology of Columbus.

Why does it hurt your feelings that he has a holiday? How does it affect your life?

It’s just something more for the cancel culture folks to try to change. Would be easier to find out what doesn’t hurt their feelings, lol.
