where exactly do you live that you see these rare things?

The blue line flag is the support police flag and you generally only see that near cops houses or families of cops. Its a closed set

I’ve seen it all over western PA. I live in the suburbs and I’ve seen them in the parking lot at the grocery store, and I often drive in the country and I’ve seen them out there as well.

A simple google search can find them if you really think they don’t exist.

The blue line flag is a desecration of the flag and is disrespectful, just like all the bastardizations of the US flag are.

I see normal Trump support flags and anti-Biden signs here and there. Probably around 1% of the homes in the country. I need to travel the country roads a few days a week. I get tired of seeing things like this, but I see a lot of BLM signs all over the place around the city as well. Mostly in suburbs though.

Part of me wishes people would just get rid of all these damn signs as they have been up for so long. I think people are running on WAY too much emotion these days, not to mention anger and hate. With the internet echo-chambers have created a completely tribal society and there is very little tolerance for differences of opinion. Sad, but that is here to stay.

You really get the big picture. I don't say that often. You grew beyond the angry losers with a new founded voice via the Internet. You know the people living in fake internet worlds.

Well stated!! You da' man.
I'd be happy to walk down to Dancing Gnome or Hithchiker sometime to meet you. We can even invite some others if you're down for it- SCR and eschaton (both of whom I've met in real life and who are quite nice people) and it'll be a grand time. Feel free to send me a PM if you're up for it, we live so darn close to each other.

Its more than just a wee bit tongue-in-cheek sarcasm.

I grew up in a rural part of the state (Lancaster County). Isn't it funny how those 'backwards, uneducated yokels' are in general far more welcoming and accepting than their tolerant,uber-educated, enlightened urbanist brethren?
A country-person is willing to listen to differing points of view, but will tell you exactly what they think.. they'll only get heated if you dismiss them as a bigot or if you try to force your own views down their throat. The more rural that you get, the more 'live and let live' the attitudes become. In contrast, the more urbanized you get the more they're willing to run you out of town on a rail if you question the prevailing orthodoxy.

It is amazing how true this is. I deal with the city people and country people due to my job and the contrast is amazing. In the country it is still civil. Pittsburgh used to have such a friendly vibe and had pride. Now? The difference in the past 5 years is amazing. WOW.

PS, I might meet, but after the pandemic. I would love to meet SCR too as he is a very kind person that I have conversed with. Don't know if echelon or SCR really want to meet me however, but one never knows. lol

They wouldn’t say anything about politics to country folks, especially ones with the supposed because Trump and Back the blue flags.

I don't think it is rare as there are a lot of city people that are very unwelcoming and really aggressive.

I think we are headed back to a clan type mentality as social media is so strong with the less educated, which are many. The uneducated will lead us unfortunately. There will be more separation as the aggressive people in the city will just bully others. We see it now and this is the beginning.

On the flip side, we were the most united as a country right after 9/11 and bush/cheney destroyed the unity by invading Iraq. I will never forget that either.

We need to look at history and what is going on now to understand the path we are on. Right now the left is wildly in control to the point of not good. No balance.

Good luck to all. I wish everyone the best and hope people find jobs and gain self worth. The more people that feel good the better.
