Except they often result in finding drugs and illegal firearms. Not even close to j walking.

Look at all 8000 cases and find how many had drugs in it (and I’m not talking about a little bit of weed). A majority are petty. Let alone they don’t have a right to search your car without a warrant. Seriously, it’s an over exaggeration to say the lease. They could use their time elsewhere and also improve community relations.

Yeah, let the quads and dirt bikes run, no one using crosswalks, just no laws. People smoking pot on every corner, begging everywhere, taking dumps on every sidewalk and more. Yet, they arrest some guy walking through a metal detector in his underwear and a shirt that comes down past his underwear.

So glad there are suburbs and the country with nice small towns that still live in a civilized society. Might as well just turn all of Pittsburgh into "the hood". Who cares? Kids are sure following suit as they see what adults do in the city. They are going nuts as well with their privilege (no rules no respect) and violence. Why not? What does it matter if we are regressing into complete chaos. How pleasant. Such class and self pride we all will have.

Ah suburbs are sure great. Well the better ones anyway.

Even if a majority are petty, getting drugs and illegal firearms off the streets is a good thing.

But they can search your car if they see or smell something that gives them a reason.

The proposed law is because folks are crying about the difference in blacks versus whites being pulled over for traffic violations. It’s your opinion that they could be spending their time better. Besides, all one has to do is make sure their lights work and obey the law and there’s no problem. It’s that simple.

kinda funny...right as this thread came around, yet another bust occurred in westmoreland...right across the line, from allegheny cty (mckeesport) ONCE AGAIN.

same deal, known dealers, on the radar so much that allegheny county made them known to cops in my location so they could set up the sting, rather than do it themselves.

On a side note, my son is a few months from graduating with honors with a bachelors in criminal justice. He wants LE. His profs are all current or ex LE, PSP, MSP, FBI, DEA etc. every one in every class says stay out of allegheny county for jobs due to the corruption. The DOJ has boxcars of case files but never acts on it cuz for the last almost 30 years, the DOJ is run by blue appointees, allecheny is blue....as the man once said: "its good to be king"

Ligonier and Sewickley come to mind. Heck Franklin and Meadville are nice as well. Why, are you going to search for a crime that happened there and get all excited about it?

Also there are nice little towns around Pittsburgh like Springdale, Oakmont, Cheswick, Mt Lebanon and more.

Just thought I would add to my eloquent post.
