Kroger is ending their benefits for unvaccinated as well. We are going to reach a point where business is going to require vaccines or weekly testing. The unvaccinated won’t get paid if they get sick

https://triblive.com/news/wire-stori...cinated-staff/

“While President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate is facing legal opposition, many companies are still trying to get as many of their employees vaccinated as possible. It is legal for businesses to require the vaccines, and they could fire employees who don’t comply. In other cases, workers might be required to wear masks or get regular tests for the virus. Companies are also allowed to withhold perks or charge extra for health insurance for those workers who refuse shots.

Kroger is not the first company to steer clear of an outright mandate, instead trying to coerce employees through company-sponsored health plans.

Delta Airlines announced it August that it would charge employees on the company health plan $200 a month if they fail to get vaccinated against covid-19. The airline also said at that time that it would stop extending pay protection to unvaccinated workers who contract covid-19 on Sept. 30, and would require unvaccinated workers to be tested weekly beginning Sept. 12, although Delta will cover the cost. Unvaccinated employees also have to wear masks in all indoor company settings.“

Take that. More of this is on the way.

Looks like the people that took the J&J shot aren't getting much protection from the Comachrome variant.

I get that he didn't want to cause a "panic", but, at the same time, maybe if people DID panic back then and TRULY clamped down/locked down the few documented cases in our country back at that time (mostly in Greater NYC, the Seattle area, and CA) would have fizzled out, and after the pain of perhaps of a month of kicking our economy in the teeth we would be back to normal rather quickly after that.
Oh come on, don't buy into the lefty propaganda narrative.
Trump was crucified on the left for his 'racist' travel bans when he did try to stop international spread of the disease. Now Sleepy Joe does the same thing, and the liberals are silent.

A month of economic pain? Look at what Fuhrer Wolf did in this state - it was for MUCH longer than a month, and yet the disease still spread. What MORE could have been done? Would you have preferred the Australian model where the Army was used to enforce internal lockdowns and the external borders were completely closed? Even they and New Zealand have cases.

Haha - censorship of opposing opinions, what a typical betrayal of classical liberalism by contemporary Democrats.

This has been such a hilarious, recurring charge against those of us conservative posters on this forum - and no matter how many times we call out those making such accusations, I have never once seen them actually cough up any evidence of regular posters on this forum making pro-Q posts.

If this country had anybody else other than Trump as president during this pandemic we are probably out of this already with most people vaccinated. The worst thing this country did was elect a Twitter ranting president just to fire up the masses. He encouraged the nuts and goofballs to come out of the woodwork

Not a chance. And let’s not forget Dems wouldn’t endorse the vaccine until after the election, and now can’t get folks to take it, lol.

This is a ludicrous statement. Are you aware that the shots are NOT working? Even your main stream TV and newsprint media is now starting to report this. Boosters will at best will only provide temporary protection before they wear off. Building up your immune system with vitamins and minerals and a healthy diet and lifestyle is the only real way to deal with it. It's a vacation of the cold virus and it will always mutate and beat any drug thrown at it. Do you get this?

Nicely put. I mean the final goal of anyone is to be healthy. People really need to look beyond the needle for good health. Do your own research and you will see that there are safe, cheap alternatives to the medical narrative of a shot for this a shot for that. Just drive by any Rite Aid/Walgreen's/CVS and you'll see what I mean. Do what WILWRadio says above and we'd all be better off.

Pretty sure it's not a "vacation" of the cold virus. Maybe what you meant to say was variation, and Covid is a variation of the cold virus as much as rednecks who drive around with 25 trump flags in the back of their pickup trucks are a variation of a human. It's simply not true.

This kind of attitude would be laughable and worthy of ridicule if it weren't insidious.
