Many of the folks were retirement age to begin with. So again, what is the solution to fill 80,000 open trucker jobs to help alleviate supply chain issues?

Except shutting it down made them do it earlier than planned. Shutting it down and living in fear has consequences. Find replacements to fill the void the clowns created by causing havoc from shutting it down, including getting Trucker Joe behind the wheel.

We get who you blame for the trucker shortage and supply chain issues. No secret. You repeat yourself over and over.

So again I ask how do you fix it?

It’s not just who I blame. It’s the cause of the problem.

Already told you twice. I obviously have to repeat myself over and over so you can try to understand.

You haven’t provided an answer to fix. You continue to repeat who you blame for it. So what is the Republican plan for filling 80,000 truck driver jobs and fixing the supply chain interruption? I’d love to hear it.

If I was a trucker I'd be more worried about this:

The trucking industry being mired in a driver shortage has raised the level of interest in artificial intelligence-enabled trucks with autonomous capabilities. Owners and executives of motor carriers see untapped potential to improve operating efficiencies, safety and productivity.

Several technology companies have been testing self-driving trucks in real-world conditions for several years. Drivers are in the vehicles now, but the switch could flip to full autonomous mode as early as 2023, experts say.

lol .... you realize that this moron will never actually answer that question right? He just likes to cowardly lob shots from the shadows, but press him on actual answers or actual positions, he turtles like a punk.

Lol. This will be 3 times. Find replacements to fill the void the clowns created by causing havoc from shutting it down, including getting Trucker Joe behind the wheel. Can also raise their pay and pass the cost onto consumers. Some skyrocketing Bidenflation never hurt anyone, right?

Nah, some folks simply don’t like answers to their questions, but the pressing part is funny, especially when you try to get that gotcha moment, it’s great stuff. As to the supply chain crisis, who’d a thunk shutting it down would have such consequences. Amazing what can happen when folks can’t see 5 minutes in front of themselves.

There is the answer to the Trucker shortage. However people like Erieguy won’t support technology because it is above their comprehension and understanding. All they do is blame and finger point with no solutions.

Lol. That technology is ways off and I haven’t heard how they’re not going to have someone in the rig that’s able to drive it if it gets wrecked into, wrecks into something, etc…

I gave solutions, you just don’t like them…but it is easy to blame and fingerpoint when folks and the powers that be make terrible decisions because they don’t have the foresight to see what’s in front of them, especially when it’s obvious to many. Sounds like DC may be getting a whole lotta truckers showing up. Maybe they can be “soothed” into working overtime from a former trucker himself.
