Would’ve brought hundreds of millions of dollars that this city desperately needs into the local economy.

Regardless of the money it’s hard to support a party that has become anti democracy and embraces far right extremism, conspiracy theories and insurrection.

the gop convention was never coming here - just like amazon. it was a sham, humoring us to see what is on the table, but we aint the blonde.

in both cases, for something large, we have no viable public transit, we dont have the parking needed, we dont have the hotel space needed and we dont have an airport nearby and 1 train of rail service, plus the site of the convention is in or near a war zone and the lessons learned from the assaults by antifa and blm at the LAST convention are well learned.

You CNNers must be getting whiplash.

2016 to 2019: We've always been at war with Russia, Russia, Russia.
2020: We've always been at war with the working class.
2021: We've always been at war with EastAsia.
2022: We've always been at war with Russia, Russia, Russia.
2022. We've always been at war with???. Without our chief, how will we know?

It's good news. Keep the crooks away from here. They're the equivalent of lethal air pollution. Their conventions are like the Apalachin meeting in 1957.They should send the state police into whichever city they land in.

Shame what has happened to so many people in this country. The media has fully taken over common sense. There are those of us out there that would welcome either party’s convention. Why? Jobs and a boost to our local economy. The media machine has divided many, but smart people know we are really on the same side of most things. The loud uneducated extremists on both sides are poison. That 4 1/2 year temper tantrum by the left in every city really hurt us all. Sad.
