I've mentioned I work if federal disaster response as my FT work. This is the reason we do not like outside help and never use volunteers (not saying they don't have a place). These people add to the stress and problems of the situation.

Maybe good intentions though obviously not well thought out if you are there to document a war but don't want to be there during the war. Now they are there taking resources desperately needed by the actual refugees and it might be 1 less Ukranian that survives.

I feel the same way about domestic “reporters” who want to experience homeless shelters for a week. Nicely done, you took a bed from somebody to write a story. Good job.
