It amazes me how completely out of touch this idiot is. We can’t fill jobs and he wants to reward the lazy. Just buying votes as they do.

There is no chance in hell legislators will vote for this, he needs to move on to addressing other areas of concern. This definitely shows he is out of touch. Maybe they can use this money for the state police so our fuel tax actually goes towards road and bridge construction.

Living in fear, shutting it down, free stuff, entitlement, etc…, is alive and well and has no bounds.

why not put a caveat on these payments????

if a head of household gets a payment, and becomes incarcerated - it goes back to the state.
if a household had a child in the public school system, and that child has surpassed an absentee limit for an unjustifiable/undocumented reason, that money goes back...

just throwing out a general idea with examples not mean to be specific. what we have otherwise is free money. when does it stop? what message is this giving to the impressionable young people, even high school-college aged? that there will, eventually, come free money from the government? it grows on trees?

well, thats my rant. flame away, i dont care.

They're buying votes. Sensible appropriations are not part of the agenda.

right! but we continue to let that happen. everything 'sneaks' in - ive read op-ed pieces where the writer equated trump's administration with hitler's - paraphrasing here - you just let this go, let that go, give them crumbs...and before you know it, its a problem, like Hitler's ascendency to power, which was miniscule at first, but then somehow became what it did. the writer felt the same about trump.

so, is wolf gets this 'crumb', where does it end? when it becomes what canada has? a tax-free benefit, just for having a kid? trust me - this will come down to taxing the middle class eventually.

Based on the monumental money laundering they've got going in Ukraine, I don't think they're imagining being anywhere but guarded compounds by November 2024. They'd like to keep the theft going until we crash, hence the vote buying.

I like to follow the news out of select countries because they serve as canaries in the coal mine for trends. Pakistan is the most interesting one lately. Talk about a bad government. Due to Covid and the idiotic Biden sanctions, people there now can't afford food and fuel. Last week they began encouraging their citizens to migrate to Europe and the Middle East so they can send money to family back home. There are 230M Pakistanis, so this should get interesting.

Nicaragua has another loser government I like to follow.

ive always wondered, something like 6 years or so since that big migration to germany, where Angela the ex-communist welcomed them with open arms. i wonder how that has worked out for Germany. I dont mean that tongue-in-cheek - if its no big deal, these people have assimilated and all's well, then great.

but i had no idea about pakistan - that we even have sanctions against them. i suppose for their harboring terrorists from bin laden's days (rest in hell).

as for your second-to-last comment, reggie, i just do not understand what you are saying - who will have compounds, and what money laundering, etc....sorry, i guess im not up on that.
(i havent followed news for weeks, except for the NFL - been too busy).
