And still wayyy higher than because Trump levels. “Just buy an electric vehicle”, lol.

Keep that war on fossil fuels rolling. Those that are so against them should already be driving electric vehicles and have electric appliances and electric heat.

Really? We just vacationed in Upstate NY. Gas everywhere was $3.79/gallon. We are now visiting PSU professor friends in State College en route to Pittsburgh today. Gas prices everywhere here are $4.15/gallon. Why are gas prices in PA higher than they are in NY when NY is a more affluent state whose residents could generally shoulder the burden of higher gas prices than PA residents can?

Because the legislators and governor want it that way.

Just like “just buy an electric vehicle”, it could be just buy electric heat and appliances, though surely those that have such issue with fossil fuels, support the war on fossil fuels, PA having the second highest gasoline tax in the country, natural gas prices up, etc…, all electric should’ve already done it by now. .

well, maybe not the Biden Admin per se. but yes, there ARE of course democrats behind this silliness. who else?

from the article:

Senator Cory Booker (D., N.J.) and Representative Don Beyer (D., Va.) wrote a letter to the agency last month urging the commission to address the issue and calling the harmful emissions a “cumulative burden” on black, Latino and low-income households.

However, the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers argues that cooking produces harmful emissions regardless of the kind of stove used.

“Ventilation is really where this discussion should be, rather than banning one particular type of technology,” Jill Notini, a vice president at the association, told Bloomberg. “Banning one type of a cooking appliance is not going to address the concerns about overall indoor air quality. We may need some behavior change, we may need [people] to turn on their hoods when cooking.”

"Address the issue" is not for an outright ban. It was this idiot Trumka that suggested "Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned"

I love Cory Booker's racist approach: 'a “cumulative burden” on black, Latino and low-income households'
who cares about white and asian households? or those of the middle class for that matter?
only a democrat would use race and class to make this a sexy thing.
certainly, though the whole United States, through the hills of appalachia, everywhere, there definitely are no white or asians who are struggling and ignorant to the potential problems with gas stoves.

i hope not - because the current President of the US is THAT ignorant?
some stations make like 2cents profit off a gallon of gas! their money is made through merch, food, stuff like that.

so sure, they are selling a LOT of gas, but 2 cents on a gallon? that is not exactly screwing the public. it starts way further up the chain.
