Everytime I make my way down 18th Street to carson, I see some poor middle-aged, fat schlub (like myself) huffing and puffing, trying to make their way up the hill I just drove down.... aside from the bike trails near the riverfront, I haven't even broken out my 12 speed yet.... I can't bear to think of how much it'll remind me about how I need to stop smoking.....

Damned hills!!!! LOL!!!!

Pennsylvania Bicycle Laws (http://www.dot.state.pa.us/BIKE/WEB/bikelaws.htm - broken link)

PA Bike Law, section 3508, prohibits biking on sidewalks in business districts. Elsewhere, biking on sidewalks is permitted, but pedestrians have right of way and bikers must give audible warnings before passing.

This thread is almost nine months old...

And sidewalk riding is just not a good idea. Stay on the road, if you slow cars down a little, that is their problem, not yours...
