Hi All,

I lived in Allison Park,PA (Hampton Twp).
Why walmart store does not sell food ?

I went to bigger Walmart store (Supercenter) around Waterworks mall,
It also did not sell food.

Finally I shopped at Giant Eagle, but the price is more expensive than the price at Walmart in Richmond, VA.

Somebody knows where to shop cheap ?

Or which Walmart store sells food ?

Thanks

Hendy

Most Wal-marts sell food, except for the older/smaller ones. Century III, Robinson, and Pittsburgh Mills all have food

Might look for a local ALDI's. Usually very good basic food staples, with seasonal and household items thrown in at very low prices overall.

ALDI - Home page

Been shopping with them for many years here in the US and overseas with pretty good luck. Have even bought an ALDI's branded scanner and laptop that continue to perform/spec'd out very well and cheap!

Other grocery stores like Foodland, Kuhn's, or Shop and Save might be cheaper, too.

I always thought GE was over priced, and it is, but I would rather spend a few extra bucks to shop in a (somewhat) comfortable local, place of business free of flashing TV screens, big yellow smiley faces, and a million other people.

Just my 2 cents.

Normal Walmart's do not sell food. Normal Walmart's are not open 24 hours/day.

Super Walmart's DO sell food. Super Walmart's ARE open 24 hours/day.

You have to look for the difference. The one at Pittsburgh Mills also sells food.

I wish Walmart would just die, personally.

giant eagle is a rip off
wal mart is cheap but you have to deal with a million idiots and long lines
wal mart has like 20 cash registers and 2 or 3 of them are open with 20 people in line
thats why wal mart has so much $ cause they dont pay any one to work the check out.
try save a lot or foodland
the only reason i go to giant eagle is cause it is right up the street

Giant Eagle is such a pleasure shopping there compared to Walmart. I would pay a little premium at Giant Eagle than give my money to Walmart any day of the week.

I much prefer Target, as well.
