Scrapp, Thanks for the article......As you know, I just moved here from Maryland. The system automatically increases your assessment 5% each year and then you are reassessed by the assessor every third year. Last year, my house went from 156,500 to 244,000. and by the way, the appeal process is very, very, very, lengthy. I don't know what the answer is, but taxes everywhere are out of control and it looks like things are about to get worse!

Go to either Wexford, Cranberry, or Robinson. They are the only places I could stand there.

Boring, more boring and most boring of all. No wonder you couldn't find something to do.

Crass, no culture and no history
Edit: Great towns if you're into the typical suburbia lifestyle, but not my cup of tea.

Ha! I can't say for fear of getting in trouble, but take a wild guess.

I'm kind of new to this kind of thing, but I'm starting to understand that there are those that come out of nowhere like snipers and then disappear just as fast. I guess if it's a kid it's understandable. If not it's pretty sad.

Try Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Greentree, Upper St. Clair, Peters Township, also nothin' wrong with Dormont.
