In NYC, we got spoiled, with everything able to be delivered at all hours of the day or night.... but here, I find that if I want even Chinese food delivered, I'd better have that call in before 9:30PM, even on weekends...

Are there any late-night delivery places in the South Hills area or Southside Slopes???.... And by "late", I mean, delivering until at least 2:00AM....

Yeah, sorry, good luck with that one. You may be able to find a pizza joint or two, but that's about it.

Oakland/N Oakland are the only parts of the City that really give you that 24/7 NYC feel.

Although I imagine with the way Pittsburgh is going more gentrefied parts of the city will start to follow.

Southside Flats - Central E Liberty - Butler Street Lawrenceville - Centre Ave Parts of Shadyside

Yeah, I can think of 24 hour places and places that deliver, but they aren't the same ones.

Pittsburgh isn't NYC. This isn't common knowledge to those who step down from the big city to the little town that Pittsburgh is. Let's be frank, let's be honest kids. There are too many places to get into trouble around parts of they city, even the good parts, to make it worth the life of a delivery person should you crave egg rolls at three in the morning.

Ok no one said Pgh was NYC - I know I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and have lived in NYC for 8 years now. What I said in response to the OP who is also from NYC, is that the closest she would come is Oakland, and Oakland is VERY much a 24/7 neighborhood.

Also Pittsburgh is not a "little town" as you state, it has the infrastructure to support well over 1m+ pop and has Culture entertainment and big league Sport that can go head to head with any Large City.

My Money is on the fact of the Big Rust Belt Cities -

Pittsburgh
Cleveland
Detroit
Cincy

Pittsburgh will the Big Comeback city.

I don't know if it's still in operation but I imagine it is. Shadyside/Point Breeze/Sq. Hill folks get a menu of various places that deliver and it seems like they are all one big coordinated operation. You can call and get Chinese, pizza, steak, whatever you want from those that participate. I don't know how late they deliver - probably until 11. Those are safer areas where drivers don't have to fear for their lives and likely get decent tips.

By-Tor,

This ain't New York. This city sleeps at night, and usually turns in around 11PM. I don't know of any Pizza places that deliver after 10PM.
