Bah Hum Bug!

As soon as Christmas is over there will be Valentines Day and Easter stuff in the stores. They start pushing Halloween in August. Retailers need holidays as a reason to help promote their sales advertising. Radio stations want those ads and will play complementary music. Christmas in July sales.

My town starts with the Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving so they're up a good month before the holiday. They take them down the first week in January, as mentioned, after we're in the mood .

Last year they played christmas music for a week when B94 was transitioning from The Man Station back to B94. Which was about this time of year. I actually liked that station.

To me, the season is a failure if the Steelers don't win 10 games.
