Hey Kids.....

So, it turns out the past two+ weeks, I've actually been living with a ruptured aneurysm in the brain....(technically, a "stroke"). I had originally thought I'd come down with one real beeyotch of a flu virus, but after 5 days when it didn't get any better, we got checked out at a PrimaCare and then 2 hospitals...........The doctors here at Allegheny General Hospital said I had only about a 3% chance of surviving it since I'd waited so long to get in after the rupture had occurred, but I've pulled through so well for now so the way I see it, F**k Death!!!!--- NO man, woman, child, beast, viral infection NOR Vesselary Explosion CAN defeat me... although a few forms of defeat would definitely feel better than this massive pain I've been living with for over 2 weeks now.... think about Polamalu kicking you in the brain and then donkey-punching you for a few hours each day, just to get a glimpse into the world I've been in......

They're hoping to release me by Monday or Tuesday of next week if I keep progressing at the current pace, and please forgive if I don't offer up pics of the cut-open scalp or other obtuse gnarliness, but rest assured that this time has sucked worse than any other time of my entire life... actually having and living through a stroke... and I even had, at one point, four nurses sponge bathing me, and I couldn't get a rise out of the fantasy value of THAT....

I'm writing a full essay on the ordeal for your later perusal, but for now.....

I need a fekkin' Guinness and a cigarette, damnit...... now!!!!

Also, there's been a good friend or two who have contacted my gal to send well-wishes, and I sincerely appreciate any good karma created by your positive energies....

Holy crap! If you hate being a janitor so much, just quit, dude!

I hope you get better soon, and many thoughts and prayers are winging their way from California, where medicinal marijuana is legal -- so breathe deep...

Damn, This hit close to home because my sister passed away from this a few years back. I am glad you survived it because I hear most people don't. My sister was at work when her's ruptured. She did not have any symptoms. Although her side of the family ( we have different moms ) all the females passed away from aneurysms.
