On to the the memory lanes, guys. For those of you who used to enjoy going out back in the days when Michael Jackson's the king of discos, I'm sure you guys and gals can still remember the names of your fav night clubs back then. Girls with big hair and guys with mullet.

Let's compile them here with their names and addresses and what you remember most about it.

Name: Confetti's
Address: Parkway Center Mall
Memorables: $1 mixed drink specials, confetti's falling from the ceiling about every half hour or so.

Name: ??? (help me out here)
Address: McKnight Road next to where Kuhn's is now
Memorables: L-shaped floor space, 2 separate dancing floors, hottest place in North Hills.

There was VIP in Hampton for North Hills people...also
Heaven..on 6th Street Downtown
Studebakers-on Stanwix
2001-actually late 70s-where PNC Park stands now
Chauncy's, of course, in Station Square
Note: I do remember the club on McKnight of which you speak. Actually, from the late 1960s until the late 1970s, there was a Hawaiian themed club there called the Huke Lau. My parents would get me a babysitter so they could go there with friends. I cannot not quite remember the name of the club that moved in after.

Holiday House - Monroeville. It had a disco and was the last place in the area to feature top talent regularly.

Remember the "Library" in the Bank Center located in downtown Pgh? It was a disco during the late 70's and early 80's. Anyone remember the other bars in the Bank Center?

Been to most of the ones mentioned so far. Heaven and the Electric Banana

Used to go to some disco's, but was more into the rock or jazz scene. The Encore in Shadyside, and there was another good jazz club on some side street I can't recall off Baum Boulevard. The Decade of course, The Iron City Houserockers were great, saw The Police in there one night, and there was a bar out on Banksville Road, La Stella's that got a lot of good rock in there. A band I reallly liked, Street Heart, and there was another band that played in there regularly, can't remember the name but they did a lot of Sly Stone, If you want me to stay, I'll be around today, to be available for you to see..

Had to add that Wild Cherry played at La Stella's regularly... Play that funky music, white boy..

Wasn't there a nightclub(s) called 2001 or VIP? Or was that the 70s? It was before my time. My older sister went there.

Can't remember the name, but there was a place past Greentree that had an old car on the dance floor. Great place. I think it played mostly rock.

I didn't like Confetti's. We only went there once and it was empty.

We always went to Chancys.

Heaven was a little before my time too.

I went to the Electric Banana once because my little sister's friend was playing. It was fun. But punk was for my little sister's generation, not mine.

I'm too young for disco and too old for punk.
