Where would the Teutonia Club be in relation to Germantown? My parents LOVE it there.

You're right. Manchester didn't become part of Allegheny City until 1867.

I find it fascinating also. I just wish it wasn't so hard to find all the information. I always knew it got dark before noon, but I only recently learned that it was like that until just before the 60s. That's amazing. Pittsburgh certainly has come a long way in the last 50 years.

I just looked up the address. It's on the eastern side---the Spring Hill/Troy Hill side of 279.
