That everyone would put their location in the upper right hand corner where their join date and other info is, and everyone would please use spell check. I understand typo's but when someone repeatedly misspells words,it makes them look dumber than a box of rocks, thank you.

I agree, but I'm not holding my breath and I'd recommend that you don't hold your breath, either.

Spell check is for sissies. Real men know how to use a dictionary. (Or Dictionary.com, anyway.)

And if they look dumber than a box of rocks, then maybe they are, and it's good to be aware of that...

I did add my location info though, just cause you asked.

Already do -- because if I didn't you'd have to have a degreein Sanscrit to understand what they hekc I am saying. (I didn't spell check that on purpose.... to show how bad a typist I am....)

spell check won't help people who don't know the difference between loose/lose, accept/except, etc.

There is nothing worse than an Internet spell patrol. People type on forums, and write fast. They don't spell check like it's some English 402 final. Chill out. Why would somebody create a thread like this?

So if you miss spell a word on a internet forum then you are considered dumb? Do I have to phrase my questions with complete grammer? Can I use fragments? Do I really need to have dictionary.com up? Is posting on this stupid forum really that important that I shouldn't start a sentence with "so", or have a miss spelled word once in a while?

If finding miss spelled words, or grammer problems on internet forums makes somebody feel smart, than so be it I gess.

I can understand a misspelled word here and there,,, (Lord knows I get words mixed up), but what bothers me is if someone posts something rather long, and it's one long paragraph, with no commas, periods, or any punctuation whatsoever, which makes it very hard to understand, let alone read. And yes, spelling does count (or wud u rather reed thing's liek thiss?).
