Hey my boyfriend is looking to flip some houses and he found one on the river in apollo,pa for only 15,000! But I was wondering, is there a catch...what is apollo all about. Is it a safe neighborhood, good school system, worth the commute?

i've been to apollo several times. Seems to be a poor area. I would not think it would have much crime and seems to be pretty safe. I just got a depressed vibe from going through the town

Apollo is not deep country western pa. My cousins live there, and when I visit PA this is where I go. It is your average Western PA town. There are no abandoned steel mills, and it is not full of poor people. A lot of newer upper middle class suburban developments are out there. My cousins went to Kiski highschool which is a good school. You seem like you know nothing of which you speak. Why describe a town when you never been there?
