Can anyone reccomend a good taxi/car service to go from Pittsburgh Airport to steubenville,Ohio? I will be traveling with my 65lb dog so I will have a large dog crate and of course a couple good size bags.If not for my dog I could take the shuttle but there must be some reasonable services there.I would appreciate any help I can get.

Hm...a quick Google search I got Lockhart Airport & Limousine Service in Steubenville. Give them a call and see if they can meet your accommodations. 740-282-4747

Have you considered a one-way car rental? Might end up being cheaper than a limo.

There are NOT good taxi service in Pittsburgh. They all have horrible service. They appear 45 minutes late IF they do. The operator does not wait to have a correct description or instructions. Drivers are rude and trying to get a larger fare, they drive by longer routes. It is better to walk 2 hours than wait for them 2 hours. Avoid using taxi in Pittsburgh. Better you walk, ride bus or rent a car. Tourist are having a very bad first impression from our city.

Not to mention that it's from a year and a half ago. I think there's some kind of weird bug in the forum software that pushes these old threads up sometimes, for new, not-signed-in users. I think I experienced this once.

I know this is an old thread. It comes up when you search Google for a taxi in Pittsburgh. For reference:

I can't get a cab in the suburbs. Today I called (Mac's) Car Service in Homewood. Very, very fast, cheap, and courteous. My driver was Ms. Jo, (412) 241-9406
