Hey everyone you all have been so helpful in answering questions, so I thought I would try one more. Does anybody know of a good local moving company, we just need some tough guys to unload our moving truck when we get to pittsburgh. Any advice would be greatly appreciated We googled on the internet but mainly found national companies.

pittsburgh labor & moving classifieds - craigslist

I used the above and hired a black guy named Lance and his partner. Sorry I don't remember the business name. They came back on Monday and gave me a $100 bill saying they must have stuck together when I paid them. He told me for labor only they charge $25 an hour.

Wow, that's refreshing integrity and honesty... I hope you bought them a nice lunch for that gesture.

We just used Dorr's Wilkinsburg Moving Exchange for a local move. They had the cheapest hourly rate for a four-man crew we could find (even cheaper than Two Men and a Truck, for twice the manpower), and they did a good job without a lot of down time.

So I would try giving them a call.
