Pens better be ready for another game 5 on friday. Hubby says it's all about the referees. He says Pens always cheat and in game 5 they didn't get away with it. I am NOT agreeing but I do agree that the officials should be consistent and they always make bad calls and don't call the things they should. If the Wings "cheat" and get power plays and lucky bounces on friday ... Pens better step up. They all have to give 150% ... I am SO nervous!!

Osgood is great but Fleury is just BLOWIN' MY FRIGGIN' MIND! The kid is incredible! Maybe the next Brodeur!!

The last team to come back from being down 2-0 in the finals was the 71 Canadians. They are also the last team to win a game 7 on the road.

In the 71 finals, Montreal lost games 1 & 2 on the road, won games 3 & 4 at home, was shut out in game 5 on the road, won game 6 at home by one goal. In game 7 they won 3-2.
This year, the Pens lost games 1 & 2 on the road, won games 3 & 4 at home, was shut out in game 5 on the road, won game 6 at home by one goal.

Montreal finished in 4th place in the regular season in 71.
Pens finished 4th in the regular season this year.

This all happened in 71. Malkin is #71.

Prediction: Pens win by one goal, in game 7, on the road. Game winner, scored by #71.

Its all in the numbers. BELIEVE! GO PENS!

Datsyuk makes a big difference for the Wings. Detroit has the better team, but the Penguins have the best 3 players in Malkin Crosby and Fleury. Flower has to have another outstanding game for the Pens in order for us to take it home; and you know that Crosby and Malkin will not disappoint. Go Pens!
