Carnegie Magazine

This project was given the axe over six years ago. It initially was to open in 2004 or 2005. I wish it would have been done. To have that cantilevered out over the river would have bee awesome. Apparently, Carnegie Science Center has been been more modest in it's spending with the money that they had for this project. They added the weather cone that changes colors a few years ago. They have new signage. They are building a new Sportsworks on adjacent property, and in a few years, plan to expand westward. At least the building has more visual excitement than it once had. I know of several other plans for grandiose projects in the downtown area that never got off of the ground. Does anybody want to add to the list?
