I think the Casino (if successful) could play a major hand in turn the City into a 24/7 city, especially in the Greater Downtown area. with the Casino being 24/7 itself, people from hotels and such would be flocking over there for late night activities....The lower N. Side (N. Shore) will atleast have major potential

We have quite a few casinos out here and since we never go, I never hear much about them.... but I always look in the paper to see who's playing where....

Found out from a person who LOVES casinos -- out local smaller casinos do not have entertainment. Just gambling. A few have spas and a golf course nearby, but they are not inclusive entertainment capitals.

Since my goal when going someplace like that is to see a show -- these places will never see my money. I don't think they'll miss the 5 bucks I shove into their machines...

But if your casino DOESN'T have some sort of entertainment, I think it'll just be cash cow to be milked and won't bring anything of value to the area.

A ballroom with weekly entertainment is to open next year, as well as a nightclub in the casino.
