I think I might be allergic to bee stings and I know some of you wondered what those bugs were. I was hoping for fruitflies over a wasp/hornet, but it seems there was a nest in the outside ventilation duct from outside of the building. They came Friday and sprayed for them, but sunday night I noticed they still keep coming. what do I do?

I already paid for a night away from my apartment so not to be in an apartment smelling like fumes.

what can I do?

The yinzers I know usually burn them out with gasoline and a match.

Barring that, you might want to buy some Raid/Wasp Killer, which you can usually get at a lawn and garden store, or most convenient to you (I think you live in East Lib or Highland Park?) would probably be Home Depot. Target might sell it too, not sure if it's seasonal for them or not.

Sometimes it takes a couple of days for the whole nest to be killed off. Ask them to come again and spray.

Ugh, that sucks. No advice here (sorry) but hopefully you don't have a crappy landlord.

I'm not surprised they're invading your apartment. Whenever you fumigate a nest, it's common for them to infiltrate the interior of the building. Call your landlord to have the exterminators come back.

Do they look like these? http://i.imgur.com/TTrA9KS.jpg

Here's to hoping that the Asian giant hornet never finds its way to the states.

OMG! That's frightening and I'm not even afraid of insects!

I just googled "Asian giant hornet" and the results say they are deadly!

well the guy came back, different guy. He found a HUGE nest inside the outside vent and sprayed it down before he yanked it out and destroyed it along with the queen. I think the queen lived since theres a BIGGER one in my kitchen lol. hopefully she dies soon.
