Why have some of the G20 protesters targeted Pamela's? Is it because the Obamas like their pancakes...or is their some other reason that I'm missing? Nothing about Pamela's suggests big corporate capitalism or anything that the protesters hate...

It looks like someone decided to smash a bunch of windows on that block. I'm not sure if they knew what Pamela's was, or cared.

Pamela's is a local chain. Two women did well enough with their first restaurant to open a couple of other locations.

Corporate? A chain of 3, I do believe. Damn those bigwigs.

whoever it was (protester with an agenda, or person joining in to smash stuff for fun), i can agree with that. i don't think whoever did this particular smashing was trying to prove anything.
