So now the speculation begins on what hotel this will be. Perhaps a Ritz-Carlton? That was the parcel they originally wanted in the 90s. We already have a Fairmont and Renaissance, so it wouldn't be those chanins. Perhaps a W Hotel?

Wow this is Great news - It truely feels like the burgh is turning a corner and becoming more progressive and open minded about development...well it only make sense with the Yinzer population the majority behind the NIMBY-ism in Pitt dwinddling. Now more things are getting done..

Pittsburgh can truely be the first city to pull itself out of the recession. Amazing.
