Bottle up some of the water from the creek on 88, throw some yeast in it, wait 2 weeks, BOOM Iron City.

The first beer I remember having here in Pittsburgh was Old German, if I'm not mistaken it was a beer made by IC. It tasted like water and roofing nails IIRC.

i'll be honest that when I went out with friend during my trip down to va, I missed the beers offered in Pittsburgh. Every single place simply had the same old macrobrews: sam adams, bud, corona, miller stella artois and then you had some places with fat heads and/or magic hat #9.some carried blue moon or shock top. I pretty much settled for a shock top/blue moon or #9, but that was because for the prices they charge down there, I couldn't find myself willing to drop $5 for a bud light. I rather drop a dollar more for a blue moon/shock top or a #9.

even worse, some bars don't consider yuengling domestic, thus they charge slightly less than #9/bluemoon for it. not for me.
