... for me and my husband, at least!

Thursday - Pens vs Avalanche
Friday - Rockettes at 4pm, then Symphony at 8pm
Saturday - Pitt vs Cincinnati

Anyone else going to events downtown this weekend?

I'm going to the Pitt-UC game with my parents who are driving up from Cincinnati (Go Cats!) Then I made reservations for the house tour of Clayton at the Frick on Sunday--I've never been when it's been done up for the holidays.

I love Clayton when it is decorated--have fun!

Oh, and my brother is going to be in town from Portland (Or). Probably he will mostly just play around the house with his nephew a lot, but we have sitters arranged for a couple dinners (Seviche and a restaurant to be determined), and hopefully will make an outing to the Children's Museum--we got a membership this year, and the little one hasn't burned out on it yet, and meanwhile my brother has never seen the North Side.

Saturday is the All-Clad cookware sale at the Washington County Fairgrounds, followed by a glass designer's sale to benefit Persad Center in Lawrenceville, followed by a dance school performance of "A Treet Grows in Bloomfield" in - where else - Bloomfield.

I believe my wife is headed to that sale. I've been there twice to return defective pans, well, let's say damaged. My wife scorched the first one she ever bought, I went down to see about getting it re-coated, they gave me a new one, free of charge. While she was out of town I damaged the replacement by cooking a burger in it and burning the hell out of the pan. I called first and explained that my wife would kill me, went down and they gave me another one, no charge. I thought I had fooled my wife until a THIRD one came in the mail, free of charge.

Good company, can't see how they stay in business.
