Like we don't have enough sports talk on the radio. I wonder how long this will last, perhaps we could see the return of K-Rock by the summer.

Is this true? If so then this is good news.

just arriving from Texas, and having left the greatest sport talk radio station on earth, http://http://www.theticket.com/ (broken link), I can honestly say that i've been quite dissappointed with the sports talk here in PA, and on the contrary to what Neurodistortion says, you can never have too much sports talk on the radio!

i'll be listening...

Before now, there were a couple sports talk stations on the AM dial (Fox Sports, ESPN Radio) and then Mark Maddens show on the X weekday afternoons. That was really about it. That simply wasn't good enough for a "world class" sports town.

It's about time we get a super sports talker like the FAN - most major sports markets already have them.

I don't want to hear people talk about anything. Just give me good rock-n-roll. What happened to playing music?

Music is played on the dozens of other stations. DVE plays the mullet music, the X plays the new rock stuff, B94 will still play the top 40 stuff, Y108 plays the redneck stuff, Bob plays non-offensive variety, ect, ect.

They talk more than they play music on most stations.
