I agree with the comment that's it's disrespectful to the audience to just "disappear" somebody...

Word on the street is that they couldn't agree to the terms of a new contract, so he walked.

I always get confused which was the nasty guy with a terrible attitude on and off radio. If this one is the jerk, I'm not surprised they didn't give him a public well wishing.

That would be Mark Madden but unfortunately, he has lots of listeners and good ratings so, unless he really steps over the FCC line again, he will be on the air for awhile.

That should make for some difficulty for the station then, since comedy bits from the morning guys are so heavily featured throughout the rest of the day too. I have to say that the past few mornings, the show has seemed a bit bland...

Clear Channel, which owns almost everything, is cost-cutting all across the country because of the recession. Advertising is down and young people don't listen to radio anymore, either. Just us fossils.

That's about the only reason I listen to the X anymore, Mark Madden's a pretty funny guy.
