Hey everyone,

It looks like I may be seeking a new apartment, beginning April 1. I'm looking for suggestions of landlords who have been renting updated (i.e., clean) units, preferably with some type of 'modern' design. I have been in contact with one such landlord, but figured this forum may be able to provide some more leads. In my experience thus far, it seems that some landlords tend to stick with more modern themes when doing updates/renovations on units, and this is what I'm looking for, whether that be 'chic' or whatever other terms are thrown around as of late.

I'm willing to entertain different areas of the city, and I am looking for 1br or small(er) 2br units. I work downtown and am currently utilizing public transportation for the most part, though I do own a vehicle. Pets are not a concern.

I appreciate any/all suggestions, thanks! While I understand these forums are meant in part to enhance public knowledge, if you would prefer not to pass info via the boards, I would appreciate PMs as well.

What is your budget? "we do property inc." has a lot of updated, modern-design apartments, mostly in downtown and the Strip, some in Oakland and Bloomfield, but they are pretty expensive. Here's their site:

we do property, inc.

Thank you for the suggestion, Kate. I've actually looked into them but I believe they're a bit out of my league at the moment. I am willing to swing up to $1k/mo or so, if the property and location warrant it, but that number generally prices me out of contention with them.
